Tom Thumb Theatre

The Tom Thumb Theatre is a family run arts venue in the heart of Cliftonville. The Tom Thumb is a quirky venue with a charming interior of velvet seats and flocked wallpaper. It hosts spoken-word nights, comedy story-telling and burlesque, as well as indie films, live bands, solo performers & DJs.

Theatre Royal

The Theatre Royal is one of Britain’s oldest theatres, a Georgian building with a programme of touring dance, drama and established comedy acts. The theatre was briefly reopened as a cinema (Kinema Royal) in the 1930’s, for 11 months, making it one of Margate’s only remaining venues to ever have shown film.
