Tom Thumb Theatre

The Tom Thumb Theatre is a historic 40-seaters space with a separate upstairs bar. Seats are comfortable, padded fold-down seats.

There is one step to the entrance, and a ramp is available for use, with prior notice. Someone is able to assist, if prior notice is given.

The Theatre itself is on one level, but the bar is upstairs with no lift or alternative access. The Theatre is very small and dimly-lit at times.

Please see film pages for subtitle availability as this varies. Please note that subtitles can be hard to see beyond the first and second rows.

There are gender neutral toilets on both floors.

There are no accessible toilets available on site, and parking is on-road with no designated accessible bays.

The Crab Museum

The crab museum is small museum space that doubles as a 50+ seater venue. Seating is on standard plastic or padded chairs.

Access to Crab Museum is via stairs (with handrails and contrasting nosing) from the ground floor.

Due to the complex design of the building, we regrettably are not yet wheelchair-accessible, but we hope to find a solution to this soon.

A gender-neutral toilet is on the mezzanine off the staircase as you come up to the venue.

Assistance dogs are very welcome. Well-behaved dogs are also welcome on leads but please be mindful of their impact on other visitors.

There are no stairs to access the bar. The paving at the front of the venue is uneven (we’re working on it!).
