A powerful story of love, loss, and the enduring human spirit, Tyger explores the challenges of reintegration and the lengths a father will go to for the love of his child. Shot on location in Margate.
After years behind bars, Joe, an ex-soldier, embarks on a heartfelt journey to reunite with his young daughter, Grace, who is about to turn six. Struggling with the isolation of prison life, Joe’s return to society is far from smooth. He is placed in a run-down bedsit and given a menial job by the local council as part of a rehabilitation program. Despite being neglected by the system and marginalised by society, Joe clings to one hope: to make it to Scotland and be with Grace again.
In this poignant tale of survival and redemption, Joe must navigate the cracks of a broken system that offers little support to those like him. But just when he’s on the brink of reuniting with the daughter who means everything to him, one pivotal moment threatens to shatter his fragile plans—and his future.
