+Q&A

Executive produced by Asif Kapadia (Senna, Amy), this joyful documentary was shot entirely on vintage Super 8 cameras by 40 people in 25 countries. Followed by a Q&A.

Compiled exclusively from super-8 footage shot on vintage cameras in 25 countries across five continents, Super Nature offers an unexpectedly rich, gloriously lo-fi view of the world, captured by 40 local volunteer cinematographers who filmed nearby nature that spoke to them, providing their thoughts as commentary. From Welsh puffins and Patagonian whales to Italian mountain ranges and Indigenous Brazilian communities, Super Nature is a global love letter to nature, written in all the textures of the human heart.

“This is nature, up close and often very personal” – Time Out ★★★★
