Cliftonville has been filled with places to see a film since the dawn of moving pictures! Join us to discover them all, in person and on foot.
The Cinema Walk explores and celebrates everywhere to have shown films on the seafront and around Northdown Road, from converted shops to glorious picture palaces, from buildings still standing to those of which all flickering traces are long gone. Including local social history, cinema makers past and present, archive images and film events happening next week, visit Cliftonville’s love for the sights, sounds and sensations of film from the 1900s to today.
Cinema Walks of Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate are part of the Palace Cinema’s on-going exploration of our local film heritage.
