Volunteer Coordinator (Paid)

Margate Film Festival is looking for a super organised Volunteer Coordinator for this year’s festival starting ASAP.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and super organised volunteer coordinator to get this year’s festival ship-shape.

You’ll be overseeing the team of festival volunteers, making sure each screening has been assigned ushers and box office helpers. The role starts ASAP, creating a schedule and coordinating volunteer enquiries. This role is mostly done ahead of the festival dates, but you’ll get to watch everything at the festival too!

This role is paid a fixed fee of £150.

Moving into its 4th year, the festival is one of a kind in Kent and the only current film exhibitor in Margate. The festival celebrates Margate’s creative DIY culture, showcasing local and international independent film. The programme explores global issues, political zeitgeist, local and cultural history through shorts, features, live music, panel discussions and family events.
