Festival Box Office Manager (Volunteer)

Margate Film Festival is looking for a trusty Box Office manager for 27th-31st October 2021. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and super organised box office manager for this year’s festival. It’s a hand-on role in a busy environment, greeting guests, checking and selling tickets & merch and overseeing the box office volunteers.

This is a volunteer role, working alongside our team of brilliant volunteer ushers. Shifts vary in timings and you’ll need to be on the front desk greeting visitors for most screenings, or coordinating volunteers on other sites. You’ll get to watch everything at the festival too!

Moving into its 4th year, the festival is one of a kind in Kent and the only current film exhibitor in Margate. The festival celebrates Margate’s creative DIY culture, showcasing local and international independent film. The programme explores global issues, political zeitgeist, local and cultural history through shorts, features, live music, panel discussions and family events.
